FYM simulates North America through over 1,000 maps, each depicting the tracks and industries at a real world location in a 2D top-down view. Players take control of these maps and are responsible for operating trains, delivering cargo, sorting cars, and many other tasks in their own maps. Trains then travel from map to map - and hence from player to player - eventually reaching their destination.\n\n
\n
FYM Wiki Contents
\n
\n\n{| style=\"width: 100%; margin-top:4px; border-spacing: 5px;\"\n\n| style=\"width:33%; border:1px solid #cef2e0; padding:5px; background:#f5fffa; vertical-align:top; color:#000;\" |\n\n===How We Play FYM===\n* Introduction and concepts\n* Installing and Running FYM\n* Version History\n* Operating Rules\n* FYM Player Code of Conduct\n\n=== Tutorials and New Starter Information ===\n* Tutorial 1 - Switching at Rolla CO\n* Tutorial 2 - Local Work at Bowling Green KY\n* Tutorial 3 - Unit Coal at Gallup NM\n* Choosing Your First Yards\n\n===Help Articles===\n* Hotkeys\n* FAQ\n* Maps and Trains Window\n* Train Information Window\n* Recover Train Information\n\n\n| style=\"width:34%; border:1px solid #e1f2e0; padding:5px; background:#fffffa; vertical-align:top; color:#000;\" |\n\n===Basic Concepts===\n* Creating, Loading and Unloading cars\n* Track Types\n* Bad Order (BO) and Home Shop cars\n\n===Detailed Information===\n* Railroads\n* Locomotives\n* Creating Locomotives for FYM\n* Cars\n* Features of Yards (Maps)\n* Hump Setup\n* Defining Sorts and Assigning to Classification Tracks\n* Switched Roads\n* Train Makeup\n\n* Notes on Individual Maps\n\n\n| style=\"width:33%; border:1px solid #cedff2; padding:5px; background:#f5faff; vertical-align:top; color:#000;\" |\n\n===Routing trains and cars===\n* Car Routing\n* Train Symbols and Routes (TSARs)\n* Blocking\n* Color Filters\n* Second Sections or Extra Trains\n* Multiple Identity Maps (MIMs)\n* Virtual Map IDs (vIDs)\n* Industry Reference Guide\n* Shortline Interchange Reference\n* Intermodal Operations\n* Automotive Operations\n* PNWR Routing Guide (Coming soon)\n\n===Contacts===\n* General Questions\n* Game Specific Questions\n* TSAR Issues\n* Map issues\n\n|}\n\n----\n\n
\n====Contributing====\nThe FYM Wiki is open for all FYM players to contribute to.
